Job summary

ExoTerra is seeking a Production Planning Manager to lead the production planning function for propulsion systems and spacecraft hardware. You will manage the master production schedule, coordinate with program management, operations, inventory, finance, and procurement, and drive continuous improvement in planning processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business, supply chain, operations, or related field.
• 7–9 years in production planning, manufacturing ops, or supply chain management.
• 3+ years leading planning or operations teams.
• ERP/MRP experience; Costpoint or NetSuite preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage master production schedules.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Production Planning team with hiring, performance reviews, and mentorship.
• Develop and maintain the master production plan and finite-capacity schedule.
• Oversee conversion of demand into Manufacturing Orders and workflows for production teams.
• Coordinate with Program Management and production teams to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Lead forecasting meetings with Operations, Inventory, Finance, Shipping, and Purchasing.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business functions supporting manufacturing operations.
