Job summary

Barrios Technology is an engineering solutions partner with decades of experience supporting NASA and the commercial space industry. We are seeking a Production Coordinator to join our Houston team and help plan, track, and optimize manufacturing schedules across multiple work centers.

You will develop kits, manage materials, and coordinate with production to meet customer commitments and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in related field and five years of experience.
Ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping schedules.
Understanding of manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal, welding, composites, and assembly.
Knowledge of metals, plastics, composites and fibrous materials.
Experience with scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera).
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Proven organizational skills to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

Maintain shop production schedule by job, machine, and work center.
Develop and coordinate production scheduling at job level to maximize throughput.
Review and coordinate execution of manufacturing work requests using designated software.
Adjust hardware development schedules to meet shop priorities.
Create full-kit job packs with materials, consumables, and docs.
Track work order status and provide reports and follow-up support.
Perform other duties as required.
