Job summary

Firefly Aerospace in Austin, TX is seeking a Production Technician to support production operations, coordinate work orders, and track status to keep aerospace components on schedule.

You'll work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, quality, and production teams, requiring strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, automotive, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, Costpoint, Epicor, etc.).
• Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and prioritize work based on needs.
• Release and track work orders and coordinate hardware movement.
• Identify material shortages and expedite deliveries with Supply Chain.
• Maintain production metrics and updates for cross-functional teams.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
