Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Production Controller to drive near-term scheduling and execution across a designated work center. You will partner with Manufacturing Engineers, Material Control, and program teams to ensure on-time hardware flow and clear visibility into risks and constraints.

You will own daily sequencing, track manufacturing orders, and help RCCP/SIOP processes with data-backed updates for leadership decisions. A strong background in production planning and ERP usage is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in production control, planning, scheduling, or dispatching in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with material availability, kitting, lead times, and inventory basics.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Odoo is a plus) and status tracking.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets for capacity, scheduling, and reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own near-term scheduling, sequencing, and execution tracking for the work center.
• Lead daily and weekly meetings; present schedule, constraints, and decisions.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure accurate routed times.
• Track MOs and reconcile discrepancies across ERP, boards, and floor.
• Identify capacity bottlenecks and propose priority solutions.
• Manage changes and ensure updates in ERP and floor queues.
