Job summary

Ursa Major is seeking a Production Controller to own near-term scheduling, sequencing, and execution tracking for designated work centers. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure routing times reflect execution, lead daily/weekly meetings, and communicate schedule changes and risks to stakeholders.

You will support RCCP and SIOP processes by maintaining rolling capacity views and feeding MPS outputs, while ensuring materials, routers, tooling, and documentation are ready for

Qualifications

• Experience in production control, planning, scheduling, or dispatching in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with supply chain and materials management best practices (material availability, kitting, lead times, inventory basics).
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (Odoo is a plus) and comfort managing Manufacturing Orders and status tracking.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets) for capacity, scheduling, and simple reporting.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams in a fast paced, hardware centric environment.

Responsibilities

• Ownership: Work Center scheduling, sequencing, and execution tracking.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to ensure routed times reflect execution and flag discrepancies.
• Lead the work center portion of daily & weekly meetings and present schedule, constraints, and decisions.
• Communicate with stakeholders when schedules shift and impacts to milestones or deliveries.
• Identify capacity restraints and help Planning and Operations evaluate priority solutions.
• Field change requests, assess schedule impact, and implement changes in ERP and on the floor.
• Track Manufacturing Orders (MOs) and reconcile data across ERP, boards, and floor.
• Resolve raw material and component issues with Material Control.
• Ensure MO queues match between digital and physical boards.
• Support RCCP with rolling 0–12 month demand views and capacity planning.
• Contribute to SIOP metrics and reporting for machining and supply chain health.
