Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics in Lynnwood, WA seeks a Production Assembler I-III to join our manufacturing team and help build critical aerospace components. The role supports assembly, inspection, and documentation tasks following military and industry standards.

Training and safety adherence are emphasized to ensure quality in a high-demand environment. The assembler position requires 2–5 years of manufacturing assembly experience, strong communication, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; Proficiency in reading comprehension (written sentences and paragraphs).
• Basic computer skills, e-mail etc.
• High School diploma or equivalent; Fine soldering certificate or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned assembly tasks
• Prepare components prior to assembly, clean components, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies
• Demonstrate proficiency in performing established operations within at least 2 area processes
• Ability to ensure all paperwork is completed appropriately
• Set up and operate assigned equipment and machinery
• Observe proper health and safety procedures and report safety concerns
• Understand daily demand per Master Schedule Report for the cell(s) they are working in
• Create IT, Facilities work orders, NCRs for quality and material issues
• Participate in cleaning of area and machinery and attend team meetings for improvement
• Practice safe work habits as established by OSHA and Crane policy
• Support CBS initiatives including 5S, KPI's, Standard Work, Problem Solving
• Complete training courses as assigned
• Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
• Any other task assigned by supervisor or management
• Understand and participate in internal/external audits
• Perform inventory cycle counts
• May repair/rework defective or returned assemblies
