Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Program Manager to build and scale a new internal product organization within a highly regulated aerospace and defense environment. This on-site role in Washington D.C.

leads cross-functional teams and drives product development from concept through production, shaping long-term strategy. Requirements include 7+ years leading NPD in regulated settings, Agile methods, capacity planning, and the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience leading new product development in a regulated environment.
• Experience with Agile product development methodologies, capacity planning, and program management tools.
• Strong cross-functional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and establishment of a new internal product organization.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain.
• Drive new product development efforts from concept through production lifecycle.
• Gather stakeholder requirements and serve as product owner throughout development.
• Oversee financial reporting, capacity planning, and support product strategy and roadmap development.
