Job summary

AMS Group is seeking a Product and Manufacturing Engineer to join its Torrance, CA operations. This hands-on role involves technical data package review, gap analysis, and resolving component obsolescence issues. The engineer will generate CAD models and manage engineering documentation while applying technical judgment across disciplines.

The ideal candidate will possess a B.S. in engineering, have 3-8 years of relevant experience, and be familiar with aerospace standards and software systems like SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• 3–8 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Experience with Military Specifications, ISO9001, AS9100.
• Familiarity with IPC, SAE, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze TDPs including engineering drawings.
• Identify and solve obsolescence issues.
• Create and manage engineering documentation.
• Apply engineering judgment to recommend design changes.
• Support the change management process.
