Job summary

Moog is seeking an Intern in Product Engineering for the Military Aircraft Group, onsite in Buffalo, NY, for Fall and Spring blocks. The intern will gain hands-on exposure to assembly and test of electronic boxes and support equipment evaluation and process development.

Applicants must be enrolled in a Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering program with a 3.0+ GPA and be willing to relocate for the internship, collaborating with a professional team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• GPA of at least 3.0; exact GPA to be specified by department.
• Ability to relocate for the duration of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for the assembly and test of electronic boxes on Military Aircrafts both at the Design Center and Production Center.
• Support the evaluation and implementation of equipment to meet production requirements (including assembly fixtures and tools).
• Contribute to the preparation and execution of key engineering tasks at Moog, such as circuit card rework, work instruction creation, and assembly/test process development.
• Provide technical support to engineers, as needed.
• Provide input on project processes, strategies, and execution.
• Operate as a multidisciplinary member of a team of creative, independent individuals.
• Represent Moog in a manner consistent with its technical and professional reputation.
