Job summary

Talentstream in the United States is seeking a procurement professional to source aerospace raw materials and standard parts from suppliers, collect quotations, negotiate terms, and generate POs in the ERP system.

You will follow up to ensure timely deliveries, coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores teams, evaluate supplier performance, verify documents such as MTC, CoC, and traceability records, and maintain procurement records.

Responsibilities

• Source aerospace raw materials and standard parts from suppliers.
• Collect and compare quotations to finalise suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Generate purchase orders (POs) in the ERP system.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, and Stores teams.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Ensure procurement compliance with AS9100 standards and customer requirements.
• Verify supplier documents, including MTC, CoC, and traceability records.
• Monitor inventory and resolve supplier quality issues.
• Maintain procurement records and support import activities.
