Job summary

GKN Aerospace is seeking a Buyer responsible for local commercial management and non-strategic sourcing within a defined geographic area. You will manage supplier delivery, support RFQ/RFP activities, and help implement regional agreements to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field, ITAR/EAR compliance, and aerospace procurement experience. Strong negotiation and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain or operations management is required.
• Ability to work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations and/or program requirements.
• Proven experience in procurement within aerospace or manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Geographically defined procurement ownership within the site.
• Manage supplier delivery and ensure cost, quality, and delivery objectives are met.
• Support RFQ/RFP activities and supplier transfers per program needs.
• Drive implementation of regional/global agreements within the area.
