Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Bridgeport, WV is seeking a Process Inspector to join our engine center. You will inspect parts delivered by vendors and after service work, across multiple engine lines, ensuring quality and conformance to drawings.

This role works on the 5th shift, Friday–Sunday 5pm–5am. A keen eye for detail, ability to juggle priorities and experience in aircraft maintenance or quality inspection are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED equivalent and 3+ years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance and/or Quality Inspection.
• U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
• Able to pass vision screening

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, repair and test operations to ensure adherence to drawings and manuals.
• Perform random visual and dimensional component inspection.
• Utilize various inspection methods and approve procedures on paperwork.
• Understand repair line operations and capabilities.
• Return components to service per FAA/FAR/NAAs and PWES requirements.
• Initiate Detail Inspection Records and CS orders as needed.
