Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Process Engineering function for Class 3, high-reliability aerospace and mission-critical PCBA manufacturing across facilities.

You will own process integrity from NPI through sustained production, ensuring quality, traceability, and regulatory compliance. You will drive continuous improvement, manage documentation, certification, and capacity planning, and partner with Quality, Production, and approved offsite partners to achieve

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 10+ years of progressive experience in high-reliability EMS manufacturing.
• Leadership experience in process engineering for Class 3 aerospace, defense, or mission-critical electronics.
• Hands-on knowledge of SMT, thru-hole, AOI/AXI, selective solder, rework, and inspection in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor the Process Engineering team supporting Class 3 aerospace and high-reliability PCBA builds.
• Establish KPIs and drive yield improvements, defect reduction, and certification compliance.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Program teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain revision control for manufacturing documentation and support NPI through sustained production.
• Support capacity planning and lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
