Ace Precision Machining is seeking a driven Multi-Axis Laser Technician to operate advanced laser systems across multiple axes, cutting and processing precision aerospace components. You will read engineering drawings, verify part quality, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet tight tolerances and deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with laser systems or CNC background willing to learn on-the-job.
• Ability to interpret sketches, follow work instructions, and meet tight tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor multi-axis laser machines for cutting, drilling, marking, or trimming sheet metal components and finished goods.
• Read and interpret engineering sketches, job routers, and process control sheets to ensure accurate part processing.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, height gauges, CMM reports, and visual inspection.
• Adjust machine parameters, align optics, load programs, and verify proper beam quality.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on lasers, motion systems, and fixturing.
• Maintain accurate production records and follow strict aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Work closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to solve problems and support continuous improvement.
• Follow all laser safety and general manufacturing safety procedures.
• Maintain machine performance through routine cleaning and preventative maintenance.
• Work as part of a collaborative team to build quality products that you're proud to put your name on.
