Ace Precision Machining is seeking a driven Multi‑Axis Laser Technician to operate advanced laser systems across multiple axes, cutting, drilling, and trimming precision components for aerospace programs.

You will read engineering sketches, set up equipment, and inspect parts with precision instruments to meet strict tolerances. Join a team focused on excellence, safety, and continuous improvement on a clean, state‑of‑the‑art floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with laser systems (Fiber, YAG, CO2) or CNC background with on‑the‑job training.
• Comfort with CNC interfaces, G-code, or automated motion platforms.
• Ability to read sketches and work instructions, and hit tight tolerances.
• Strong attention to detail and safety mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate multi‑axis laser machines for cutting, drilling, marking, or trimming sheet metal.
• Read engineering sketches and control sheets to ensure correct part processing.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and CMM reports; document results.
• Adjust machine parameters and load programs; verify beam quality.
• Maintain production records and follow aerospace quality standards (AS9100, NADCAP).
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production to drive continuous improvement.
• Follow laser safety and general manufacturing safety procedures.
