Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Precision Electrical Assembler - Level 2 in Glendale, AZ. This role focuses on assembling precision electronic components and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) with high accuracy, following detailed instructions and blueprints.

You will solder CCAs, test assemblies, and work under supervision from the workflow team. You will gain exposure to aerospace quality standards, work with engineering and QA teams, and participate in continuous improvement efforts, including

Qualifications

• Must pass vision test; cannot be color blind.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years soldering experience with small parts.
• Experience assembling precision electronic components in manufacturing, aerospace preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions accurately.
• Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection methods.
• Proficiency with testing equipment and basic troubleshooting.
• Willingness to complete formal J-Std solder training; prior training a plus.
• Knowledge of CCA build concepts.
• Basic computer skills; SAP, MS Office, Teamcenter a plus.
• Candidates must work under a microscope.

Responsibilities

• Assemble precision electronic components and subassemblies per detailed work instructions and blueprints.
• Assemble and solder CCAs to meet high quality standards.
• Inspect and test assemblies for quality compliance.
• Set up and monitor production in the work area for safe, efficient operation.
• Participate in continuous improvement addressing safety, production, and quality.
• Collaborate with engineering and QA to resolve assembly issues and implement process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assembly processes and test results.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
