Job summary

Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command is seeking an Air Reserve Technician (ART) to maintain aerospace ground equipment, read intricate schematics, and inspect generators, transfer switches, and UPS systems. Qualifications

Experience with AC/DC electrical systems and safety rules for aerospace ground equipment.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical orders.
Maintenance and repair of generators, transfer switches, and UPS systems.
Troubleshooting complex electronic, hydraulic, HVAC, pneumatic, and mechanical subsystems.
Ability to train others and follow shop procedures.
Valid state driver3s license may be required.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, repair, and modify generators, ATS, and UPS systems.
Repair non-powered equipment such as jacks, ladders, platforms, trailers, and stands.
Maintain accurate maintenance records per USAF orders.
Work schedules may include overtime and rotating shifts.
May be required to travel by air for temporary/permanent assignments.
