Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group, a global leader in overhaul and repair of aircraft components, seeks a Pneumatics Technician to join our skilled technical team in Miami. You will follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations to ensure all pneumatic parts meet airworthiness standards before service.

Collaborate with engineers and inspectors, perform tests, document repairs, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while upholding AS9100 requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with pneumatic components.
• Ability to read OEM manuals and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, clean, repair, reassemble, and test pneumatic aircraft components (valves, actuators, regulators, pumps).
• Troubleshoot pneumatic system and component malfunctions using manuals and schematics.
• Perform leak, pressure, and functional testing to verify performance and airworthiness.
• Read and interpret OEM manuals, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Replace worn, damaged, or non-conforming parts in accordance with approved repair procedures.
• Utilize precision measuring tools and pressure gauges to verify compliance with specifications.
• Complete detailed repair, inspection, and testing documentation.
• Identify and report non-conforming materials, components or processes.
• Maintain work areas clean, organized, and in serviceable condition.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, AS9100 standards, customer requirements, and company procedures.
