Job summary

HEICO Component Repair Group in Miami, FL is seeking a Generator Technician to support aircraft component overhaul and repair, following OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations to ensure airworthiness.

You will inspect, disassemble, repair, test, and document generator systems and related mechanical and pneumatic components, maintaining traceability and quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on experience with generator systems (aviation or aerospace preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations and MRO standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test aircraft components.
• Perform troubleshooting to identify failures and repair actions.
• Work with generator components and related systems.
• Follow OEM manuals, engineering instructions, and FAA regulations.
• Use tools and precision instruments to repair and test components.
• Maintain traceable repair, inspection, and test documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality Control to resolve issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
