Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Blairsville, IN is seeking a quality inspector to inspect parts before, during, and after processing, operate equipment, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. You will follow Valence ROUTER procedures, fill out routers correctly, and work under supervision while ensuring accuracy in processing and documentation.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, ability to read process travelers, and compliance with ITAR and company policies.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret process travelers and complete operations
• Use basic hand tools as required
• Follow verbal and written directions precisely
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs and work under supervision

Responsibilities

• Inspect the part before, during, and after processing
• Operate all necessary machinery and instruments safely and perform routine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Locate and understand relevant quality system documentation in Valence computer system
• Follow Valence ROUTER procedures and correctly fill out routers, report input corrections to a supervisor
• Perform tasks with minimal supervision while protecting parts from damage
