Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Blairsville, PA is seeking an entry-level production/quality associate to support aerospace finishing operations. You will inspect parts before, during, and after processing, and operate all required machinery with supervision.

The role requires reading process travelers, following documented procedures, and handling basic hand tools, with lifting up to 50 lbs. Valence offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, holiday pay, and a safe ITAR‑regulated work

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read process travelers and document completed operations.
• Ability to perform simple cleaning operations.
• Able to assist as a helper to trained operators.
• Able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Able to use basic hand tools such as wrenches and clamps.
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts before, during, and after processing.
• Operate machinery and instruments needed to perform the job, including forklift training for designated employees.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Locate and understand relevant quality system documentation in the Valence computer system.
• Understand and follow steps defined in the Valence ROUTER and follow procedures for filling out routers and reporting issues.
• Process parts with little or no supervision.
• Avoid damage to parts and protect them from damage.
