Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a qualified candidate for an entry-level role in its aerospace finishing operations. The position involves inspecting parts at all stages, safely operating required equipment, and maintaining a clean work area in a regulated environment.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and be able to read process travelers, perform basic cleaning, assist operators, and lift up to 50 lbs. Training is provided and supervision is available as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read process traveler and complete operations.
• Ability to perform simple cleaning tasks.
• Able to assist as a helper to trained operators.
• Able to follow verbal and written directions.
• Able to use basic hand tools (wrenches, clamps).
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts before, during, and after processing.
• Operate machinery and instruments safely and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Locate and understand relevant quality system documentation in Valence computer system.
• Follow Valence ROUTER procedures and correct input mistakes, notify supervisor for router problems.
• Process parts with minimal supervision.
• Avoid damage to parts and protect them from damage.
