Job summary

SNQPA-Staffing Network seeks a Plant Manager with an aerospace or electronics manufacturing background to direct daily facility operations, production planning, safety compliance, quality control, and budgeting. You will coordinate production schedules, manage P&L, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires 7–10+ years in manufacturing with at least 5 years in leadership, plus proficiency with SAP and lean methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related technical field.
  • 7–10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience with at least 5 years in leadership.
  • Deep knowledge of plant operations, SAP, and reading schematics/blueprints.
  • Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, or TPM certification/experience.
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Direct manufacturing workflows to hit output targets safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Enforce OSHA guidelines, environmental rules, and internal safety programs on the shop floor.
  • Build and manage the annual plant operating budget, control labor costs, and track P&L metrics.
  • Ensure finished goods meet strict quality standards and lead root-cause analysis when defects occur.
  • Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM to minimize waste.
  • Hire, train, mentor, and evaluate department managers, shift supervisors, and support staff.
