Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a qualified professional to lead planning and scheduling for the Orbital Launch Site at Launch Complex 36. The role will coordinate with Operations, Facilities, Inventory, Project Managers, and vehicle teams to ensure resource availability and deconflicted execution of critical work.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of aerospace planning experience, strong skills with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project, and proven ERP/MRP familiarity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, project management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of planning and scheduling experience, especially within an aerospace environment.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, particularly using Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

  • Manages scope of work ensuring maintenance, integration, and detailed schedules for all operations at Launch Complex 36. Provides management detailed information to ensure scheduled completion dates align with assigned resource capacities across the pad.
  • When schedule recovery is necessary, identifies and analyzes solutions and bottlenecks, including forward and reverse scheduling methods. What-If analysis provided to management as required.
  • Works closely with all Operations teams to determine resources and labor hours needed then schedules work accordingly.
  • Coordinates interdepartmental activity with all groups operating at the pad, to include contracted work, to ensure all operations and customer specifications are achieved and schedules are accurate.
  • Monitors status and provides regular updates to management on upcoming operations priorities.
  • Updates visual management charts with current program status.
  • Performs schedule and scope variance analysis and reviews LC-36 operations execution.
  • Works on problems of varied scope where analysis of data requires evaluation and judgement.
