Job summary

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Buyer to manage procurement for materials, components, and services supporting assembly and manufacturing operations. You will optimize total cost, maintain inventory targets, and ensure supplier performance in a fast-paced, aerospace-adjacent environment.

Responsibilities include sourcing, RFQ development, PO placement, supplier performance management, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams.

Responsibilities

• Generates RFQs and places purchase orders, negotiates lowest cost and favorable terms.

• Responsible for acquisition of goods and services at right time and quality.
• 3
• Follow up on open purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.

• Maintain supplier On Time Delivery (OTD).
• 5
• Builds and maintains supplier relationships to improve service and quality.
• 6
• Contributes to continuous improvement of the assembly MRP process.

• Resolve supplier invoicing issues and implement corrective actions.

• Participate in production meetings to provide material status.
• 9
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to release orders to floor efficiently.

• Monitor MRP to align material supply with system demand and optimize inventory.

• Conduct periodic supplier business reviews to improve performance.

• Perform other duties and cost estimating support as needed
