Lockheed Martin is seeking a bond technician to perform bonding of aircraft parts, components, assemblies and related accessories in our manufacturing environment. You will follow drawings, specs, and procedures to assemble parts using adhesives, fixtures, and press operations.

You'll work with detailed instructions, measure using calipers and similar tools, and ensure proper fit and finish. Six months to a year of related experience is typical; a strong attention to safety and quality is

• Requires knowledge of arithmetic involving decimals and fractions and ability to read and interpret drawings and operation sheets.
• Experience handling measurement instruments and following specifications is expected.
• Six months to a year of related experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Bond aircraft parts, components, assemblies and related accessories following drawings and specs.
• Prepare parts for bonding, load in fixtures, and operate bonding-related equipment.
• Maintain quality and safety standards throughout bonding and rework as needed.
