Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior painting experience or vocational training is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on high-quality work.
• Identify and select appropriate tools for each task.
• Effective communication skills and active listening.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated coordination to work with others.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines and equipment used in coating and painting processes.
• Prepare surfaces by washing, treating, sanding, and applying solutions for finish adhesion.
• Review work orders or follow supervisor instructions to determine job requirements.
• Inspect finished work pieces for quality and specifications.
• Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work areas.
• Keep work areas organized and return materials to storage.
• Dispose of waste materials properly after completion.
• Report injuries, unsafe conditions, or malfunctions to the Shop Manager.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Create and apply stencils, and brush or spray lettering and decorative elements as required.
