Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks Level 4 spray operators for aerospace primers and topcoats on diverse substrates. Proficiency with HVLP systems, spatter textures, and related barriers is essential. Role includes cross-training in racking, turning, sanding and paint-mixing as needed, with a 2pm–10:30pm shift.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of relevant experience, NESHAP training, and strong problem-solving abilities. Excellent manual dexterity and safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in aerospace primer/topcoat spray on varied geometries.
• NESHAP certification training under 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH; PCI provides training.
• Familiar with HVLP spray equipment and airless ID pots/pumps/guns.

Responsibilities

• Review work instructions for paint type, tolerances, and thickness.
• Load, adjust, and maintain HVLP coating equipment across variants.
• Set up and operate conventional and airless ID pots, pumps, and guns.
• Apply primers and topcoats to a wide range of substrates and geometries.
• Follow safety directives and share best practices with teammates.
