Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking an Aerospace Parts Painter to apply paints and coatings to aerospace components at our North Hollywood facility. The role emphasizes safety, precision, and adherence to specifications while maintaining equipment and work areas.

The candidate will prepare surfaces, apply primers and coatings, inspect results, and document processes. A high school diploma or GED and aerospace painting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience painting industrial parts, preferably aerospace.
• Painting techniques and material knowledge required.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Strong focus on quality and precision.
• Comfort with basic math and measurements.
• Proficiency with standard computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and follow company safety policies.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking.
• Apply primers, paints, and coatings via spraying, brushing, or dipping.
• Inspect painted parts for quality and specification compliance.
• Maintain and clean painting booth and equipment.
• Collaborate with team to meet production deadlines.
• Document processes and keep accurate records.
