Job summary

Applied Aerospace & Defense seeks skilled workers to detail and prepare parts for the Paint Shop in Stockton, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role requires the ability to lift 50 lbs, follow safety rules, and read MIDs/blueprints. ITAR eligibility and U.S. person status are required.

Responsibilities include masking/unmasking, part tagging, inspection readiness, and light assembly. Location in Stockton offers a hands-on environment supporting quality-driven aerospace production.

Qualifications

• Must be safety oriented and follow all safety and plant rules.
• ItAR eligibility required; U.S. person definition applies.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and MIDs.
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Mask or unmask and clean parts for the Paint Shop.
• Detail all parts going and coming from Paint Shop.
• Identify parts by stamping or using a video jet and log them.
• Make sure that the part has a final inspection.
• Wrap parts per planning and prepare for shipping or storage.
• Label wrapped parts for identification.
• Silkscreen parts when required and mix inks.
• Some assembly after unmasking the parts.
• Read MID documents and blueprints; operate basic computer tasks.
