Job summary

American Contract Group is seeking an Operations Program Manager for AS9100-compliant aerospace programs. This onsite role in Camarillo, CA drives delivery, quality, and cost commitments, coordinating between IPTs, manufacturing, and suppliers to keep schedules on track.

Key duties include leading execution reviews, expediting critical components, and managing ECOs/MCOs while engaging with customers and senior leadership to mitigate risks and ensure on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 2–5+ years of experience in Program Management, Operations Management, or related manufacturing roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to meet delivery objectives.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, planning, inventory, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to drive accountability in a matrixed environment with strong communication.
• ITAR: U.S. person status required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Operations focal point across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Planning, Quality, Engineering and Customer Service teams.
• Lead program execution reviews to identify schedule risks and capacity constraints.
• Expedite components through supply chain and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve shortages.
• Coordinate ECOs/MCOs and engineering changes with minimal production disruption.
• Support contract reviews, production readiness reviews, and strategic planning.
• Communicate risks and recovery actions to customers and executives.
