Equiliem is recruiting an Operations Program Manager in Camarillo, CA. The role oversees operational execution for aerospace programs, coordinating across manufacturing, supply chain, planning, engineering, quality, and customer service to meet quality, delivery, cost, and schedule commitments.

The position emphasizes material expediting, capacity planning, production recovery, and continuous improvement while maintaining proactive customer communication and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of experience in program/operations/manufacturing roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams to hit delivery, cost, quality, and schedule targets.
• Proven track record managing production schedules and customer delivery commitments.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, planning, inventory, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to drive accountability in a matrixed environment without direct authority.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel, Power BI, and MS Project.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or MFGPRO.
• Understanding of financial forecasting and performance metrics.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and lead change across functions and suppliers.
• Must qualify as a U.S. person under ITAR for export-controlled information.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution for aerospace programs and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Serve as primary operations liaison between customers and internal teams to align priorities and recovery plans.
• Lead program execution reviews to identify schedule risks and shortages.
• Drive accountability and resolve roadblocks affecting throughput and deliveries.
• Expedite critical components and materials to support production schedules.
• Coordinate with suppliers and planners to resolve shortages and minimize downtime.
• Prioritize constrained materials and resources based on commitments and priorities.
• Lead escalation and corrective actions for shortages, delays, and changes.
• Monitor hardware status from receipt to shipment to ensure timely movement.
• Develop recovery plans for overdue orders and schedule changes.
• Communicate risks and delivery commitments to customers and leadership.
• Collaborate with customers on forecast changes and escalation needs.
• Analyze metrics and develop improvement plans; support Lean initiatives.
