Job summary

Woodward, Inc. is hiring Operations Technicians to support production lines at the Rock Cut Campus in Loves Park, IL. You will perform manufacturing, assembly, testing, and/or special processes, using hand tools and inspection equipment to produce high-quality aerospace parts.

Levels differ by responsibilities and shift training; Level 1 starts on 1st week with 7:00am–3:30pm training, then may switch shifts. Strong focus on safety, 5S, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Candidate able to follow SOPs and standard tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrates basic mechanical and measurement tool use with safety.
• Able to log operations accurately and maintain data per standards.

Responsibilities

• Level 1: follow documented procedures to produce quality aerospace parts using specified tools.
• Level 1: observe key process variables, log daily operations, and escalate concerns.
• Level 2: maintain process variables, train others, and propose improvements to standard work.
