Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Operations Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects spanning manufacturing, integration, and delivery of critical computer systems for aerospace and defense clients.

The role coordinates between engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, contracts, and customer stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery in compliance with customer and defense industry requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading cross-functional operations and manufacturing projects.
• Knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, ITAR, EAR, DFARS regulatory requirements.
• Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational and manufacturing projects from planning through execution.
• Develop detailed project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet objectives and commitments.
• Prepare and deliver project reviews, risk assessments, and exec-level presentations.
• Collaborate with supply chain to ensure material availability.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
