Job summary

Metis Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead the contractor team in operating, maintaining, and sustaining all systems at the Dryden Aeronautical Test Range (DATR) for NASA AFRC. The role emphasizes 95% uptime and adherence to NASA standards.

You will develop SOMPs and Work Instructions, manage spares, logs, and documentation, and oversee mission support during operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 7 years of relevant job experience.
• OR 15+ years of progressive experience in technical operations and maintenance in lieu of a degree.
• Strong background in electronics, instrumentation, telemetry, radar, communications systems, or related range technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, modification, diagnosis, and repair of DATR systems and equipment.
• Ensure mission systems achieve and maintain 95% uptime (excluding scheduled maintenance).
• Develop and implement SOMPs/WIs and ensure proper documentation of system changes and logs.
