Job summary

Magellan Aerospace in New York is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee metal surface treatment, NDT, and shot peening operations. You will drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets within budget, leading across Operations and Supply Chain, including maintenance and EHS compliance.

The role reports to the Division Manager and offers a competitive salary. The position requires a strong background in aerospace manufacturing, Nadcap/AS9100, and proven leadership in regulated

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations Management.
• 5–8 years of progressive operations leadership in metal surface treatment, NDT, and shot peening (aerospace) preferred.
• Nadcap merit and AS9100 certification experience with zero major findings in the last 3 audits.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to efficiently utilize materials, labor, and equipment to meet delivery, quality, and cost targets.
• Lead daily operations to ensure Nadcap and customer specifications compliance.
• Identify and drive improvements to processing lines, equipment, and work methods to meet divisional goals.
• Oversee supply chain including procurement, planning, scheduling, shipping, and warehousing.
• Drive KPIs: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Inventory; ensure corrective actions.
