Job summary

AV8 MRO, a Victor Sierra Aviation company, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Houston facility and support the continued growth of our organization. The role requires balancing customer priorities with workforce capacity, production schedules, material availability, and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing or aerospace operations experience.
• Experience leading teams of 20+ employees in a regulated environment.
• Strong production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation skills.
• Experience with procurement and supplier management.
• ERP/MRP systems experience for production planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations across receiving, teardown, machining, plating, inspection, assembly, testing, painting, and shipping.
• Establish and communicate production priorities, schedules, and performance expectations.
• Monitor workflow and WIP to remove bottlenecks and optimize throughput.
• Lead capacity planning and ensure alignment with demand and schedules.
• Oversee procurement and material availability to support production commitments.
