Jobot in Orange, CA is seeking an experienced Nut Former Technician/Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This role sets up and operates multi-station nut forming equipment to produce aerospace fasteners meeting strict customer and quality requirements.

Hours include 1st shift (4AM-2:30PM) and 2nd shift (2:30PM-1AM) with overtime eligibility. Candidates should have 3–5 years of nut forming experience, blueprints literacy, and proficiency with precision measurement tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of experience operating nut formers or related fastener equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Experience with cold forming and tooling changes.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust nut forming machines.
• Perform complete machine changeovers and setup verification.
• Monitor performance to maintain dimensional accuracy.
• Interpret blueprints, work orders, and specifications.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and comparators.
• Troubleshoot tooling and machine issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine maintenance and ensure safe operation.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and safety procedures.
