Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corp is offering a Technical Intern internship in an aerospace/defense setting. You will work on real projects, gain hands‑on experience, and receive mentoring to develop technical and professional skills.

Ideal candidates are Engineering/CS students with strong analytical skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio. You will collaborate with a team in a hybrid office environment and contribute to meaningful company projects.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled as Sophomore, Junior, or Senior with at least 6 months until graduation.
Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
Strong organization skills and work ethic; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

Participate in actual technical projects and contribute to team objectives.
Receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and records.
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting technical data.
Attend planning meetings to understand project requirements, timelines, and goals.
Perform hands‑on technical work assignments to gain practical experience.
Work with teammates and apply learnings to ongoing projects.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and support best practices.
Participate in workshops to understand business and company culture.
