Job summary

AAA USA in the aerospace industry is seeking skilled NDT professionals experienced in inspecting aircraft components, materials, and assemblies using ultrasonic testing. Candidates should have hands-on UT experience and the ability to evaluate components for compliance with engineering, quality, and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with 3 years of related experience or equivalent.
• Experience performing Ultrasonic Testing (UT) in aerospace/precision environments.
• Proficiency with multiple UT methods: Phased Array, Pulse-Echo, Shear Wave, Through-Transmission.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
• Strong understanding of NDT principles, inspection procedures and quality requirements.
• Ability to document inspection results and identify nonconforming conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform nondestructive inspections to evaluate materials, components, and systems without damage.
• Operate UT methods including phased array, pulse-echo, shear wave, and through-Transmission.
• Verify parts and processes comply with engineering, customer, and quality requirements.
• Set up, calibrate, and standardize ultrasonic equipment per procedures.
• Document inspection results and nonconforming conditions.
• Maintain inspection equipment, records, and certifications.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior NDI personnel.
• Support audits of nondestructive inspection processes.
• Follow safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
