Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Non Destructive Test Technician (NDT) – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team in Promontory, UT. This role requires NAS 410 certification and current NDT experience with radiographic and ultrasonic methods.

Qualified candidates will perform RT/UT inspections on rocket motor components, work a 4/10 schedule with Fridays off, and participate in a high-stakes aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• NAS410 Level 2 certification in RT or UT with aerospace experience.
• Additional Level 2 certifications in UT, ET, PT, MT, LT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) on components.
• Inspect metallic and nonmetallic materials for defects using radiography, ultrasound, penetrant, and other methods.
• Focus on radiographic inspection (RT) and UT of metal and composite parts.
• Handle and move energetic and non-energetic components as needed.
• Contribute to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.
