Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector is seeking a Non Destructive Test Technician (NDT) - Tech 2/3 in Promontory, UT. The role targets critical aerospace inspections and NAS 410 requirements, with a 4/10 schedule and Friday off; shifts may rotate and require overtime and on-call duties.

Qualified candidates must hold Level II RT or UT certification with aerospace experience, pass the NAS 410 vision test, be a U.S. citizen, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) on components.
• Inspects metallic and nonmetallic materials, parts and assemblies for defects using radiography, ultrasound, penetrants, eddy currents and related methods.
• Primary focus on radiographic inspection (RT) of rocket motors and UT inspections of metal/composite components.
• Handle and move energetic and non-energetic parts as part of inspections.
