Job summary

Voyager Energetics seeks an NDT Level 2 X-Ray Technician to perform radiographic inspections on aerospace/defense components. The role reports to the Quality Manager within the Quality Department, starting onsite in Penrose, CO and transitioning to Pueblo, CO.

Responsibilities include image evaluation, QA documentation, safety compliance, and collaboration with engineers and production teams to meet stringent quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NAS410 Rev 6 Level 2 radiography certification required.
• At least 80 hours formal radiography classroom training.
• At least 1000 hours hands-on radiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiographic inspections using X-ray technology to assess components for defects.
• Evaluate images and interpret results per specs, blueprints, and process instructions.
• Document findings and maintain records for QA.
• Perform equipment setup, calibration, and QA checks.
• Conduct radiation safety surveys and complete annual training.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure quality and safety.
