Job summary

Voyager Technologies is hiring an NDT Level II X-ray Technician to perform radiographic inspections for aerospace and defense components. The role starts onsite in Penrose, CO and transfers to Pueblo, CO, reporting to the Quality Manager.

You will evaluate images, document findings, and maintain QA records while meeting safety standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NAS410 Level 2 radiography certification required.
• Minimum 80 hours of formal radiography education.
• Minimum 1000 hours of hands-on radiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct radiographic inspections using X-ray technology to assess solid propellant grains for defects and imperfections.
• Evaluate images and interpret test results in accordance with engineering specifications, blueprints, and process instructions.
• Document findings accurately and maintain historical records for quality assurance.
• Perform daily equipment setup, calibration, and quality checks to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct radiation safety surveys and complete required annual radiation safety training.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and production teams to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Education

High school diploma or GED

NAS410 Level 2 certification in radiography

80 hours of formal radiography education

1000 hours of hands-on radiography experience
