Job summary

Magellan Aerospace is seeking an NDT Level II Inspector in West Babylon, NY to perform Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant inspections on aerospace components in accordance with NAS 410, Nadcap, and customer specifications.

You will set up and calibrate inspection systems, interpret indications, document results, and support continuous quality and safety programs. The role requires independent work, attention to detail, and collaboration with the NDT team.

Qualifications

• NAS 410 NDT Level II certification in MT and/or PT.
• Ability to provide documented NAS 410 training/records.
• Knowledge of aerospace NDT standards and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Perform MT and PT inspections per procedures and customer requirements.
• Set up and calibrate inspection systems per method procedures.
• Inspect parts, interpret indications, and make acceptance decisions.
• Maintain logs, route cards, and inspection reports.
