Job summary

TAT Technologies is seeking a Director of Operations at the Greensboro site, serving as the Center of Excellence for APU and landing gear MRO services. You will provide hands-on leadership across maintenance, repair, and production, driving cultural, operational, and financial excellence.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing principles implemented to improve quality and throughput.
• Six Sigma methodology applied to reduce waste and defects.
• Visual management and shop-floor controls to sustain performance.
• Experience managing budgets, labor productivity, and P&L statements.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations in a 145 MRO environment, ensuring safety, quality, TAT, and on-time delivery.
• Implement Visual Standard Work and Lean techniques across production areas.
• Analyze workflows, staffing, space, and equipment layouts to boost throughput.
• Direct managers and supervisors; set expectations, review performance, and drive results.
• Develop annual work plans aligned with long-term goals and profitability.
