Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking a Liaison Engineer with MRB experience to resolve non-conformances on spacecraft production, working with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering on the shop floor.

The role requires 3+ years in mechanical engineering or equivalent and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. The team supports structural integrity and analysis across the Leo program.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years in Liaison Engineer/MRB roles with aerospace structures.
• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition non-conformance events across procurement, storage, handling, manufacturing, assembly, testing, transport, integration and orbital operations.
• Develop standard repairs, rework procedures, DFMs, improved processes and instructions.
• Conduct root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Document static, dynamic and fatigue analyses to support dispositions.
• Develop analysis methods addressing common non-conformances.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing and Engineering to perform root cause failure analyses.
• Interact with internal/external customers and suppliers.
