Marotta Controls in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Spring 2027 Machine Learning Co-Op to work on an ML project within the Power and Actuation Systems unit. On-site role with January 2027 through Summer 2027 start, two openings. You will collect and analyze data, train models, and present results to leadership.

Ideal candidate is pursuing a technical degree, strong GPA, and experience with Python, NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a technical degree program (Data Science/CS/EE/SE).
• Strong GPA and coursework in core engineering, CS, math, or programming.
• Coursework or hands-on ML, AI, data science, or statistical modeling.
• Programming experience with Python and common ML libraries.

Responsabilités

• Support development and implementation of a machine learning project.
• Collect, clean, analyze engineering data for ML models.
• Develop, train, test, and evaluate ML algorithms and models.
• Write and maintain code for data processing, analysis, and testing.
• Evaluate model performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create visualizations and technical summaries of findings.
• Document methodologies, results, and technical findings.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate problems into data-driven solutions.
• Present progress and results to engineering leadership.
