Comlux America LLC, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a world-class VIP aircraft completion and refurbishment center. The Methods Engineer will translate engineering designs into efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes and work closely with Engineering, Production, Planning, and Quality to optimize workflows while ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and related manufacturing experience.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, methods engineering, or production engineering.
• Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, or other complex manufacturing environments preferred.
• Experience developing manufacturing processes, routings, or standard work documentation.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments and applying Lean/continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain manufacturing methods, routings, and process documentation for aircraft completions and modifications.
• Translate engineering drawings into efficient manufacturing processes for production teams.
• Create and maintain Bills of Process (BOP) and labor standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce lead time, labor hours, waste, and rework.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure manufacturability and serviceability of new designs.
• Support NPI by developing production methods before aircraft arrival.
• Develop and implement permanent corrective actions for quality issues.
