Job summary

Chromalloy Gas Turbine, LLC is seeking a QA Lab Technician to support material testing, metallurgical evaluations, and laboratory operations in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. You will perform laboratory testing, analyze materials, maintain testing equipment, and help ensure quality and reliability of aerospace components used in aviation.

The role requires attention to detail, experience with lab equipment, and strong documentation.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in materials testing, quality, or related lab environment.
• Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
• Fluent English; accurate technical documentation.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate material samples through cutting, mounting, grinding, polishing, and etching.
• Perform laboratory testing and wet chemistry analysis.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab testing equipment.
• Inspect incoming materials, powders, coatings, and production samples.
• Support metallurgical analysis of welding, coating, drilling, and stripping processes.
• Document test results and quality data.
• Assist with process validation and supplier material certifications.
• Maintain lab supplies and testing materials.
• Support R&D and continuous improvement projects.
• Follow all quality, safety, environmental regulations.
